I read it all in one sitting and I cannot wait to read it all again!!! An absolutely amazing novel for an equally amazing show.

    Top Stargate novel! Spectacular!

I loved reading this book by Suzanne Wood, it's one of the best Stargate SG-1 novels available. It was a real page turner, I could not put it down! The writing was fantastic and it realistically captured the characters featured on the TV series Stargate SG-1.

The creative imagination in having the team go through a long and grueling trial was impressive. It was a true test of their ability to survive and come together as a team. The various planets and their unique environments were fascinating and a joy to read.

I'm looking forward to seeing more novels written by Suzanne, particularly ones that feature the newest SG-1 team with Vala and Cam. Definitely take a look at her short story (three part series) in the Stargate Magazine that includes the latest crew. You'll want more!

    A fun and fast read.

If you are a fan of Stargate SG-1 'and of course fanfiction' then you should enjoy this book. This is my favorite of the Stargate SG-1 fandemonium novels that I have read so far 'I have read 6'. Some of the other novels that I have read go into a LOT of details with plot lines and secondary characters and places that I cannot remember 'and a lot of names that I cannot pronounce' which makes it difficult to pick up the book after a couple of days of not reading it and get back into the story. Maybe it's just me and I get confused easily, but some of the novels I really don't get by the time I have finished. This novel was perfect. It takes place on 13 different planets and on each one there is a time limit and therefore there is not a lot of time for confusingly deep plots and characters, etc. In relation to fanfiction this novel would be categorized as an action/adventure hurt/comfort type with a slightly biased focus on Daniel 'which I am ok with as he is my favorite'. The author even thanks Michael Shanks for 'being Daniel' on the acknowledgement page. Anyway, the author has a really great feeling for each of the characters which makes for a great fan read!
