Inspirational -- but not too practical
Ralph Moore is indeed a great church planter. He has done most of his work in the poor areas of Hawaii. He tells of the reasons why to start a church, the limitations, and a bit about the practicalities. It seems to be a formula that works for him -- and probably some others. But it is a limited scope. I would recommend this book if you are a pastor and a lay person in a denomination that you can become a pastor easily and want to start a church where others would not go. Great advice and inspiration on that front. But if you want to start a church in heartland of America -- the advice and inspiration are a bit thin. Was this review helpful?
