What do you do when your best friend is marrying the wrong person? You kidnap the groom of course! That's the beginning of this truly wonderful friends to lovers story. It was highly entertaining with great secondary characters and a nice pace. Recommended read!

Stealing the Groom is a nice, easy-read, angst-free romance.

Chad and Amelia are lifelong best friends and complete opposites; he the safe businessman with everything planned out, she the flighty, live-life-by-the-seat-of-your-pants type of girl. She can't watch her best friend marry for convenience so she kidnaps him on his wedding day and suddenly finds herself standing at the altar...

Their journey flowed well however it pretty much panned out as I expected it to. It didn't hold any real surprises but they were a cute endearing couple, with great banter and whilst Chad didn't steal my breath away, he was a sweetie and both he and Amelia brought out the best and the worst in one another.

Whilst I liked it, I have to confess it didn't wow me in the way many other Bliss books have in the past. Nevertheless, I look forward to reading the next books in the series (which have been set-up nicely) , if you're after an easy sweet read then it does the trick and I'd recommend.

I received a copy of this as an ARC courtesy of Entangled Publishing for an honest & unbiased opinion

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This book is how a marriage of convenience gets derailed by a "fly by the seat of her pants" best friend,
Amelia, who promised Chad, the groom, at 8 yrs. old they would only marry for love.
She can't stand the idea of Chad married to "the mean girl" Claire, and what ensues is a twisty tale of how
these two wind up together.  Amelia is impetuous and Chad plans everything with lists.
His upbringing has him a non-believer in love, hence the intended marriage to Claire, as a business decision.
While Amelia is an adventurous person and a bit of a daredevil, I didn't find her to be a truly memorable female
character.  I guess I also tend to like Alpha males, and Chad didn't strike me as that.
I would recommend this book as a fun, lighthearted read, and most certainly a bargain @ .99 p

Clean and fun romance! A good read for a good afternoon.
The main plot of Stealing the Groom is not exactly unique, but somehow reading the old “best friend turned lovers” story in a different angle is still entertaining. If you’re one of those kinds of readers who don’t mind finding the same kind of plot in books, but with different characters and labyrinth of situations, then this book is for you!
Whenever I feel so overwhelmed reading too dark and too heavy YA books, I relinquish my inner romance goddess and read light and clean romance! It definitely lifts my spirits up.
