I have stencilled pretty much everything in the house now

This book is amazing! I have used it to stencil everything from walls to baby onesies (which was a huge hit as a baby shower activity, should you ever need one). They are easy to use, easy to clean and pretty durable. The only thing that would have made it better is if the stencils had been made of plastic, but the coated cardboard is sturdy enough that that is a minor issue. I highly recommend this and Ed Roth's other stencil books if you like personalizing ordinary things. OH! I also used this book to stencil a custom bike for my niece, and she loves, LOVES having a cool bike that is unlike any others.

    more from this reviewer

It Made an Impression on Me!

I love this book! The selection of stencils is definitely not run of the mill (a stencil for a tape cassette ... how cool is that?!), which sets this stecil collection apart from any others. Are there stencils for flowers? ... check! Animals? ... check! An aerosol can? YES! I mainly use the stencils for dry embossing and have made some cards that the recipients loved because of the unique stencil design. I think they should do a Vol. 2 soon!

Great stencils. I used them for a 10-year old's birthday party

Great stencils. I used them for a 10-year old's birthday party designing t-shirts. Downside: the stencils are made of coated paper and fall apart after one or two uses with wet dye - we used screen-printing ink. These stencils are best used with markers or some other medium that doesn't need to be wiped off. Or you could recut them on acetate if you plan to use them more than once.

Stencil 201 includes mylar stencils which are truly reusable and can be rinsed off easily.
