    I Also Recommend:

    Great insights to the man

A great book on the thoughts of Stonewall Jackson and how they guided his life. His maxims are still creditable in today's world. Excellent reading and explanations on how Lord Chesterfield and others helped make Jackson into the man he was. A definite must read for anyone wanting to fully understand Thomas Jonathan Jackson, not just the soldier, but the entire person!

This is an incredible find for any Civil Wawr enthusiast and for anyone interested in 'Old Jack'. It sheds insight into the complex soul of this great general.

    A study in Character development

Such a rare book and so needed today. Here in the pages of this book is a role model all would do well to imitate. It was a time when character was a valued trait and was sought after diligently. A good book for both parents and children.

Required Reading For My Three Sons!

We live in a time where words like honor, character, and manners mean little or nothing. General Thomas Jonathan Jackson new their importance and sought daily to develop them in his on life. We would do well to follow his example. I highly recommend this book to all fathers. I can tell you it will be required reading for my three sons.

    Inspirational

I thought the information in "Stonewall Jackson's Book of Maxims" was quite interesting and inspirational. You can read slowly and carefully to glean the most out of it, for this book is short and to the point. I recommend it to every parent.
