a friend let me read this..

i gotta tell you all, if a lady is doing what the author recommends, i'm out, you'll seem totally uninterested in me, and i'm not wasting my time... and that 'rotating guys' thing, if she's seeing 3 guys, i won't be one of them... follow these rules if you want the nice guys to go away and leave you alone...

Okay only for females in high school or college....

I found this book to be disappointing and unrealistic, as well as disempowering to women. While it may have a few do-able ideas for someone in their 20's, with lots of single female friends who have time to go on weekend trips, etc, I found it very unrealistice for anyone over 35, if not 30. As for the rule of 'rotating' men...that's great, if you can find three interesting men to date at the same time! But unless you are quite young and surrounded by a LOT of single men (as in college days) or not at all selective, this is hugely unrealistic. The ideas of never calling a guy, never accepting a weekend date after Wednedsday, etc., sound just like 'The Rules'! And NO ONE can guarantee that someone will be married within a certain amount of time (3 years in this case) if they follow these or any other rules. There are just far too many other factors involved. Overall, it was a waste of money. And last of all, I highly doubt that the fact that the author's husband proposed to her on top of the Eiffel Tower had much to do with these tips, rather, she likely just got lucky and found a very romantic guy!
