    more from this reviewer

Readers will enjoy the best pregnancy whodunit since Fargo.

In the last few weeks of her pregnancy, Caerphilly College Meg Langslow is struggling with finding adequate housing for recently displaced students (due to a heating plant problem). This includes one of her husband associate professor Michael Waterston's grad students Ramon Soto. In fact their home is housing several students including Ramon

Besides a housing issue, Ramon is upset after the English Department's nasty Dr. Jean Wright accompanied by admin services Dr. Enrique Blanco arrive to inform him his dissertation proposal a play is rejected. They explain his topic the performance of an obscure anti-Franco play is not acceptable as it contains offensive material. Soon afterward, someone kills Jean in the Langslow library. Meg investigates as only she can.

Although carrying twins and about to give birth in two weeks, Meg waddles her way through an amusing investigation. The key to this jocular jaunt is the heroine as she works on two difficult issues: how many people can you fit into a room and who killed the odious Wright. Readers will enjoy the best pregnancy whodunit since Fargo.

    Alexis

Alexis stares at Cale, like, 'cx', and giggles. She flings the pills back at him, unneeding of them.

One of the best in the series! Next to Murder with Peacocks and Revenge of the Wroght Iron Flamingoes, this is easily up there. Meg makes for the best pregnant mother. Her sarcastic humor really shines in this one. Good job, Donna Andrews!

    We love you Donna Andrews!

SO ... here's the big question : Whatever happened to your Turing Hopper series? Please, please put them on nook! I have all four books in paperback. Why did you give up the series. It truly broke my heart.

    It's a must read!

I found Donna Andrew's books early this year. I bought the whole series and enjoyed them big time. This one did not disappoint. Can't wait for the next one when Meg has the babies finally!

    I really like this series

Though i don't know if i could survive having her family in real life-they are fun to visit with-didn't appreciate the cliffhanger but i'm late reading this book so i can now pick up the next one to find out what Meg had!

Just another great addition to a wonderful series!

I applaud the author for all the wonderful characters within each of her stories! We don't have just 2 main characters that meet new people in each story ....we are given so much more. We have an extended family of characters that are remembered and brought forward for each new adventure!

I look forward to the next book!!

    I Also Recommend:

    Raving about Stork Raving mad!

I love this series! If you have never read her, Start with "Murder with Peacocks" so that you get all the characters - make a character list (if you need to) because most of them are still in this book 12 books later. And now the heating in the college, where Michael teaches, has broken and all the students assigned to the dorms are camping "in" with the town folks, guess who has kindly taken some in? Meg's book, that tells her when to breathe, is still running the show. I'm not going to spoil the ending for you, but be prepared to read this book straight through! Stock up on one hand foods.
