    A reviewer

I'm a BIG fan of Brenda Jackson! I just find it hard to get much enjoyment out of some of the Silhouette Desire Series, especially when she participates with other authors. Only because I'm NOT always interested in reading the other author's contribution to the series. And if you don't read the whole series, it's like coming into to the theatre after 1/2 the movie is over and trying to get a grasp on what's happening, which is a TOTAL waste of money. The storyline was decent. I enjoyed the heated attraction between Brandon and Cassie. Everything just happens so quickly, it's hard to really develop a relationship with the characters. I must admit at the mention of some of the other Garrison's, I was a little intrigued about the outcome of the rest of the series, but I very much doubt I'll continue with the series. That being said, if you're a Brenda Jackson fan, then you've DEFINITELY read better, but it was still an okay read!

    Too Risky a Romance!!!

While it evolved with a funny and interesting plot, I have read better stories by Ms. Jackson and this was a little farfetched, ridiculous and dangerous at the same time in these times of STDs/STIs and serial killers that can kill people. I would not recommend just meeting and sexing any man or woman. Perhaps, some of these romance writers need to get a grip on this "mad passion" where the heroine drops her panties at the hint of a smile that is so overpowering that she forgets her head!! Sure, they use condoms but infectious diseases can be transmitted through oral-genital contact and I have never heard of a dental dam in a romance novel. I guess that would, sort of, defeat the purpose of being "ovecome by passion" to a greater degree; but if the man can come prepared with a condom, perhaps he can come with an oral barrier, as well. Sure, I like a hot and passionate romance, but the characters need to get to know each other better and take time before they jump into the physicality of things. I still like Ms. Jackson, but perhaps she needs to read some of the CDC reports to get a look at what all of this "one-night stand" passion can cost you!!!

    Not

This does not compare with Brenda Jackson's Westmorland or Madaris family books. Those are interesting. This is not. I am in the middle of reading the story of Brooke Garrison by Catherine Mann. It is not as good (so far anyway) as Cassie's story.
