This album has so many textures and visits so many musical styles yet stays close to that trade-mark Jimmie sound. He comes out from under his younger brother shadow to offer a new twist to and old sound. He is often times compared to Stevie Ray when their is no comparison at all. they are two unique guitar players in their own right. Jimmie proves that so well with track like "hey Yeah" and "Sweet Soul Vibe".Their is also an intimate version of "Six Strings Down" that pays tribute to his brother. All in all it is fun to listen to if you like contemporary blues. A+Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
