    You Gotta Love Baseball !!!

This is the first book I read by Kate Angell and I got to say it was one of the best I have read (and I love to read). I couldn't put it down. The Humor was awesome couldn't stop laughing, the romance were hot and steamy and left you breathless. I can't wait to read her other books too.

    Another delightful Rogue story

Strike Zone by Kate Angell is another winner in her Richmond Rogues series. _________ Thrill seeker Taylor Hannah has come back to Richmond after finding out that her ex-fiancé Rogues star pitcher Brek Stryker is engaged to another woman. Three years ago Taylor left Brek standing at the altar and she has not stopped thinking about how she has wronged him ever since. Taylor had just gone through a major tragedy right before the I do¿s and she ran away instead of facing it head on. She has come back to Richmond to find some closure with Brek. What she found was that this man still is in her system. __________ Brek Stryker can not believe his eyes, Taylor Hannah is back in town. She tore his heart out and ripped it to shreds when she left him. Now she is home and messing with the quiet orderly life he has strived to maintain. The woman he is set to marry is quiet, unassuming just what he needs after adventurous Taylor. But in his heart of hearts he knows that Taylor is really the woman who owns him body and soul. _____________ Brek and Taylor come to an understanding about co-existing in Richmond. Even though they are still attracted to each other they ignore it. Then Brek finds out the truth about the woman he was supposed to marry and once he is a free man all bets are off. _____________ Brek and Taylor will worm their way into your heart. Everyone has been scared of life one time or another and these two have had their fair share of heartbreak. Their sexual banter and allure leaps off every encounter that they have. The secondary romance between Taylor¿s sister Eve and the relief pitcher Sloan is an extra special treat in this wonderful book. ____________ I have immensely enjoyed every book in this series. This series is one every romance reader needs to get their hands on. I am waiting patiently for the next slugger to get his story.

    I Also Recommend:

    Home Run for Angell

I enjoy a strong heroine in romance novels, and Taylor Hannah is a thrill seeker. She's daring, and when she descovers her ex-fiance is once again engaged, she returns to Richmond to see Brek Stryker one last time. She first sees him dressed as the team mascot, which was a total LOL. Taylor Hannah's sister Eve is more straightlaced, until she meets her match in relief pitcher, Sloan McCaffrey. Light, sexy, relaxing read.

Take Me Out To The Ballgame!

Thrill seeker Taylor Hannah screwed up by leaving professional baseball pitcher Brek Stryker at the altar. Three years later, the runaway bride returns to Richmond to find Stryker engaged to another woman. A lot of sizzle remains between Brek and Taylor. Yet Brek refuses to get burned a second time. There's also Sloan McCaffrey and Eve Hannah, Taylor's younger sister. The reader will chuckle over Eve's aversion to ducks. All in all, a quick, fun, sexy baseball romance.

    more from this reviewer

    excellent baseball romance

In Richmond, Virginia three years ago, Taylor Hannah broke her engagement to Rogue pitcher Brek Stryker as she needed to grieve the sudden death of her parents alone. She always felt that once she healed she could go home to heal what she broke off with her beloved Brek until now. Her sister sends the Thrill-seeker guide a clipping from the Virginia Banner announcing that Brek is engaged to marry Mayor Talbot¿s daughter Hilary. Leaving Paris for Richmond, Taylor comes home for her Brek. P However, Brek wants nothing to do with the woman who humiliated him three years ago on their wedding day when she fled town even if she does outrageous stunts like being the mascot Rally to get his attention. Meanwhile relief pitcher Sloan McCaffery makes a pitch towards Taylor until he finds himself thinking of her sister Eve as he sits in the bullpen neither sister wants anything to do with Sloan who wants to kiss her between the strikes if she will kiss him between the balls (paraphrasing Soupy Sales). P This is an excellent baseball romance in which two couples fall in love. Taylor and Brek are the prime show as she tries to prove to her beloved they still belong together like hot dog and mustard. Sloan and Eve almost steal home from the lead pair as their support subplot brings extra runs to the latest Rogue sports tale (see CURVEBALL and SQUEEZE PLAY). P Harriet Klausner

    Book Three of the Series

Love the characters, love the writing and love the Baseball theme.
Sexy men and their ladies. Read all five books in a week and thoroughly enjoyed the ride. Important to read this series in order as the characters carry over from book to book... Really enjoyed all the books.

    Another winner by Kate Angell!

I am completely hooked by Kate Angell's Richmond Rogue's series! I love it when you feel the passion, pain and the regret in a story and they all shine through in this one.
