    What a find!

I don't recall where I picked up Madison's first book (or the book that was new to me), but I pounced on buying her next one. A Stroke of Magic was great fun, and this author is going places!

    Wonderful, Absolutly Wonderful!

Since there is no synopsis and I took a risk on this book I wanted to write a review so that this book recieves all the praise it is worthy of. First off the characters are wonderful. Each person you meet is a 3 dimensional character, not a rough outline. Madison captures your attention and never loses it.

There's not so much suspense but its a wonderful plot line that you can't wait to see to the end. It is a bit predictable, but aren't most love stories?

Synopsis: Alice is pregnant and alone. The father (who turned out to be married!) deserted her and her child. She's starting a new life with new responsibilities and just when she thinks everything is on track, albeit a wobly one, some weird stuff starts happening. Her artwork takes on a whole new life. All she knows is that she has to find her soul mate before her daughter is born or it spells disaster for her family.

Other than the main character, who is unselfish and totally loveable, my favorite character is her grandma. She's a real spitfire and will have you laughing from the moment you meet her.

I relly hope you'll take a chance. Its a light read perfect for emersing yourself in a life of gypsy magic and soul mates.

    Not just funny

This book is funny but it is more than that. The heroine is expecting a baby and the father is out of the picture. She is magical but does not know this when the book opens. There is also a ghost and a prophecy and lots of fun with the crazy family members.

It is a magical story of love and learning to believe in your self. The quirky family members and enchanting magic are fun and made me laugh but the best part of this book is the love between Alice and Ethan. It is a book that you want to read again as soon as you finish!

    I Also Recommend:

    Fun and Magical

This is the second in Tracy Madison's Magic series. Alice is single, pregnant, and not in the market for a new man. Until she discovers two things: she has to find her soul mate before her baby is born plus she is a gypsy and she's magical.

This story is so much fun! It's heartwarming, funny, and is truly a tale of unconditional love. I recommend it highlty.

    more from this reviewer

    delightful paranormal romance

In Chicago, Enchanted Expressions graphic designer Alice Raymond has a slight problem. It is not being single and pregnant as she kicked her cheating ex to the curb. It is not the fact that her hormones are geometrically out of control due partly to the fetus inside her and to a degree due to her crush on her boss, Ethan Gallagher. Finally it is not the fact that she can see her late great-grandmother and have her wishes come true. Her dilemma is the Gypsy's curse that proclaims for her now unborn daughter to live a happy life; Alice must find her soul mate before the infant is born.

Her libido insists it is Gallagher, but Alice no longer trusts that part of her body. Ethan was engaged to his forever significant other who ended their relationship after a fortuneteller told her he was not her numero uno. He vowed never again will he allow a "paranormal" con artist to intrude in his life. However, now he believes he has found his significant other in Alice, but she rants like she visited "Wonderland" about dead relatives and gypsy curses. Though he fears she is a certifiable fruitcake, he loves Alice, but even he is unsure whether he can stand by her when she keeps sprouting about her unborn being cursed.

Fans will enjoy this delightful paranormal romance filled with two wonderful lead characters and a strong support cast. Alice is a believer but Ethan is a doubter, which makes for a fun relationship for readers but not for them. Anyone who enjoys A TASTE OF MAGIC will appreciate this lighthearted frolic as once again, Tracy Madison provides a charming whimsical urban fantasy.
