    Good reading!

I bought this book for the Sherrilyn Kenyon short story and was not disappointed at all. It is a great short story and I just wished it was a bit longer. The story by Amanda Ashley was also just as good. I can't for the life of me remember the other 2 stories, but Kenyon's and Ashley's was worth the price of the book.

    Great collection of stories.

An interesting collection of stories all put together. Gives you a great insite to four different writers. I purchased it for the story included by Sherrilyn Kenyon but was pleasantly surprised by the other authors.

It's an amazing collection! I bought it mainly for Sherrilyn Kenyon but immeditely fell in love with all the other stories. Every story brings in a new set of characters that you love and can't help but want to keep reading. Defintely a book to read and stories to remember.

    A Nice Treat

L.A. Banks - It was really nice to read Jacob Rider's story. I am re-reading Banks' Vampire Huntress series now that I have additional information on Rider. Thanks!! Sherrilyn Kenyon is a great storyteller. I will have to find more of her books.

    Mediocre

the only story worth reading in this collection is Sherrylin Kenyon's, and even that one is not her best. The stories lacked good plots and the characters were not engaging. The romance was not that romantic. It felt kind of like the writers were just going through the motions.

    Good and disappointing

I thought the Kenyon and Handeland's stories were great because they were able to mesh the drama with comedy. Ashley's was all right, but she has done better. Banks' story, however, was very disappointing. It took me several pages to get into it and then I was emotionally involved with the characters. Then the ending was like the bottom falling out of a bucket. She could have come up with a better ending. It was too much reality coming into play. If I want to read about that, I can go read a book by Hawthorne or Thackery.

    alright, and okay

In 'winter born' by kenyon two enemy werepanthers discover that fate has destined they become lovers. Pandora must learn to trust Dante's foreign nature. But as she slowly succombs to the truest passion she has ever known, dark forces have already set out to reclaim her. In 'born of the knight', by ashley, Lady Shanara is taken hostage, and she learns the rumors about her captor are true. Lord Reyes is afflicted with the dark curse of the werewolf. Still, Shanara can't fight the attraction they both feel. In 'make it last forever'by banks, an innocent mistake forces the beautiful Tara onto a mission to save herself from the dark fate that awaits her. Salvation comes in the form of a seductive biker with a heart of gold. In 'red moon rising' Novelist Maya Alexander's peace is shattered when she is stalked by a Navajo skinwalker who has taken on the guise of a wold. Her only hope is the mysterious Clay Philips. In his arms, she seeks protection-but as the red moon rises, noone is safe from the danger that lurks nearby. I liked 'winter born' and 'red moon rising', 'born of the night' was alright but could've been better. 'Make it last forever' was HORRIBLE! it was confusing and i didn't like the ending at all. but overall i'd surely recommend it.

    Very disappointing

The only story I liked 'Winter Born' which wasn't nearly long enough and needed to be developed more. However this story did have some cute moments. The last two stories of this book(especially the third story) did not make any sense and I had a hard time getting through this part the book.
