It is considered to be replaced....
The book is okay, but it is not great. The chapters are not that organized, though organic chem is such an organized subject. And also it is now scarce, if it is still available here in the Philippines. So the premier university in my country, the University of the Philippines, considers our Chem 33, 34 'long-running' textbook now a 'thing of the past'...Was this review helpful? A great text for an organic student
I found that the Morrison and Boyd text is an easy text to follow and understand. As any professor would stress that it is important to attend regular lectures, the Morrison and Boyd text provided supplemental instruction to my organic professor's lectures. There are review questions at the end of each chapter as well as within the chapter. All concepts are set up in a logical order which makes it easier for the first time organic student to learn the material. My organic professor picked a winner when he chose this text. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
