Required Summer Reading for Entering 1L Students at Cumberland School of Law
Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, an ABA-accredited law school in Birmingham, AL, places this book at the top of its Summer reading list. It is, in fact, the only required reading material for entering 1L (first-year) students at that school.

Having read most of it while taking pre-1L Summer classes at Cumberland, I have found most of the material presented to be insightful and interesting. There are great tips about how to study and what to expect on tests as well as explanations of how one could expect his law school experience to differ from other educational - especially undergraduate - experiences.
I would recommend this book to any entering 1L student or anyone considering going to law school. -
