Are you better at straight cuts than traingles? Do you like to
Are you better at straight cuts than traingles? Do you like to work with squares and rectangles? Then this will be a book you will want to add to your library as there are 15 projects made with only rectangles. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. The book begins with a 14 page overview of color, tone, value and contrast. Then there is a section on designs. It shows various ways to lay out your rectangles to make different blocks. By using this section and the cutting lists in the projects, you will have endless quilt patterns to make.
Whether you use your scraps or buy new lengths of fabrics, you will have lots of quilts to make. Each project has a color photo with the block and quilt size and which design it uses. Cutting and materials lists are easy to read and there is not much need in the project itself for graphics as that is done in the design section. Instructions are clearly written.
This is a book that is going in my library.

You Too Can Be Successful
Easy enough for beginning quilters, but also has lovely patterns which will interest experienced quilters. The information about selection of colors and prints is outstanding, and the many diagrams for quilt layout is a treasure. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
