Thank you Suzanne Goin!
I thought this book was going to be another celeb cookbook with complicated menus that take days to prepare. Quite the contrary since it is everything a home chef is looking for. Easy to prepare & delicious, the recipes are quite simple, and have unique combinations. Thank you Suzanne, for I made many of the recipes over Thanksgiving and Christmas. The accolades I got for the braised pork shoulder and the baked apples were all due to this book. My family (a very foodie clan)especially loved the persimmon and pomagranite salad with hazelnuts. I read the thing like a novel, since it is all organized by season, and the foods Suzanne loves. She definitely put her heart into writing this book. I recomend it without qualification!
