Superman:For Tomorrow volume 1 is great!
Superman:For Tomorrow volume 1 is great! I will give credit for Jim Lee for making the best rendition of Superman ever! Jim Lee's Superman is like John Byrne's Man of Steel DC comics! Highly Recommended!

For all those who never liked The Man Steel.
Superman is the top selling comic in history if memory serves and if you mention comic books to a person the odds may be that Superman will cross that persons mind first when they think of one. Superman has always been the type of guy that is out to do one thing, helping others. So when millions vanish with out warning and he wasn't there when it happened he starts having problems. And being absent is the very least of them. This story has to be one of the most compelling and engrossing comics I have ever read and Jim Lee's Art makes it all the better. Superman has always been good, great stories, awesome writers and fantastic characters especially the villains. But that part has always kind of bothered some people. Superman is powerful and is the classic example of a superhero. However, unlike other superheroes he never really faced a daunting challenge in his comics very often and so to some it kind of turned people off, sadly myself included. I have always loved the TV shows but never really got into the comics. That changed VERY fast once Azzerello got signed on. He is definitely not the type of writer you give Superman too unless you really want to jazz it up and he does. He has made Superman into the most fun you will ever have reading a comic. This story is an incredible mystery and will keep your attention despite what some think of as a slow start. The villains are insane and Superman is really pushed over the edge and into horror. His faith and the faith of others are being pushed to the test and things are getting bad. I have one through eight and I can't wait to read the rest. It is a must read for comic book fans and will change the way skeptics look at Superman for the better. On one last note though, Azzerrelo is known for writing gritty, R rated comics so even though he does in NO way shape of form make Superman mature and keeps Superman true to itself. It is shockingly different to the typical ¿Light and hope¿ I¿ve normally seen. It has some very irreverent language I don¿t like and does show a hard scene of war, otherwise though it¿s very good. It¿s 5 stars, easy.
