This is a must read for every parent!  It isn't really a how to guide or list of technical details for navigating IED's and medications, etc.. but
a real insight into what it means to be a kid or adult with ADD. If your child has been diagnosed with ADD, step one...READ THIS BOOK!

There are plenty of other texts out there with details on the different meds and navigating the school system, but this was hands down the
most essential thing I read (out of 15 books) on ADD, and I would recommend reading this book first and foremost.

    Profound

This book not only gave me hope in how to help my child face a world that does not embrace the gift of ADHD, it also provided real tools and concepts of how I can face that same world. I feel like a stronger and more confident parent knowing that there are people fighting the same fight and doing it successfully. This book has made me laugh and made me cry and most important, it has encouraged me.

    Title is a Little Misleading

I mostly skimmed this book as I quickly came to realize that it wasnt going to give real coping techniques or "tricks" to make parenting a little easier. I thought there was a lot of fluff and little actual content. The authors do provide a different perspective, mostly about changing your parental expectations.
