I have been following AA and this story from the beginning. Having thoroughly enjoyed the first book, Book II knocks it out of the park. For those of you who have criticized the grammar and punctuation you should find this a vast improvement.

The story picks up where Book I left you hanging. It will keep you on the edge of your seat until well.. everything must end and when it does you will be wanting more. I found the web site on the back of the book very nice.

Some words of warning for the uninitiated. There is colorful language and action some might find offensive, if you do, do not buy it. If you have not read Book I, then start there first. Plan on getting nothing done once you start this book, as you will not be able to put it down or concentrate on anything else until you do. Can't wait for Book III!

I can not begin to express how much I have enjoyed this book!  How often do you get a sequel that's better than the first?  Well, here's your chance. After reading Going Home, and then Surviving Home, I am truly ready and
anxiously awaiting the third book in this series.
This book relates the day to day living for Morgan, his family, his friends and what's left of their neighborhood. Sounds boring, right? Wrong! Morgan's day to day living is a whole lot different  than yours and mine. He has to deal with all sorts of things that you wouldn't think about.
For those who might hesitate to get this book due to the editing issues of the first release of Going Home, rest assured that that has been rectified.
If you enjoyed Going Home, you'll be happy that you got Surviving Home.

Mr. American really knows how to bring you into a story. This much anticipated follow-up to Going Home continues Morgan Carter's story post EMP. Just like Going Home, this book is a page turner that you won't be able to put down!

This is a fantastic story. I started reading at 8:00pm last nite and finished all but 30 pages by 3:ooam. I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer. He is a great writer and I don't care if it is not perfect. Doesn't matter. This book makes you think about preparing for emergencies and not be a sheeple. Best book I have read in a long time. It is like he is sitting telling you a story word for word.

A trip down the rabbit hole

An intersting continuation on "Going Home". Talks about survival from more than just hunger. Normally average people, friends, neighbors, government, all can be dangers when all the basic commodities of life run out.

I too have been following this writer for a while now. I could not wait to finish the first book, Going Home. Now I have finished the second book and it leaves you wanting more & more. This book seems very real and you feel like you are struggling along with the characters in the book. I like these books better than most of the ones out there on this subject because this writer puts his sense of humor in them. Not all doomsday books have to be sad & gloomy at every turn. Although this is far from a comedy, it is refreshing to think that we could still have a little fun & make some jokes along the way if a situation like this ever comes along. I will say again that I will buy any books A. American writes. Go on & give it a try, you will not regret it. I do think you should read the first one before you go on to this one. Gena.KY
