The title is very misleading. Most of the receipts are of different traditions. There was only a hand full of Swedish receipts. Most were German, but since the author is German, who would have expected a complete book on Swedish breads and pastries. I will say that the German receipts are very good. Directions and pictures are to be applauded. If your a bread backer and love to try something different than I would suggest this book, not by title, but by the contents of its receipts. A good book to have on the shelf. So I gave it 4 stars.
