Sweet Liar

READ IT!

I just got done reading this book and i just fell in love with it. I really dont like her contemporaries very much and i didnt have high expectations for this book but i totally fell in love with the characters and didnt want this story to end! Sweet Liar is by far my fav. jude deveraux book of all time!

I loved and still love this book

I read this years ago. Jude D. is the only author I've kept all her books I've read, though I 'almost' never read a book more than once. I have read this one 3 times and I am now getting the ebook version so I will always have it at the ready. This is by far my favorite and I typically perfer her historical romances over her contemporary.

Slow start but great middle end

I found myself geating bored/ irratated with main character samanrha in the beginning of the book, too much poor me going on, but nce she loosened up its a GREAT book with love mystery and suspence, i loved it

As i was reading this i felt like i knew these people. She has a great gift at creating characters that u will never forget. Great read.

Not a favorite, but ok

This book was my first from Deveraux. Not too bad, although I found Mike to be too sensational. The man had no flaws! That's just not real at all. In romance, I believe that characters have to have good and bad characteristic. People are not perfect and making up characters that are seems so unreal. You can also fall in love with people with imperfections. I did like Samantha's complexity. I hated her and then I loved her. So, that was good.

Read this when it was first published and I still daydream about it!

UNFORGETABLE! Her characters are as real as a writer can get.

it's a good book but it has so many unrealistic and over the top scenes that i don't care much for.

It was OK

I really enjoyed the first 3/4 of this book, I couldn't put it down. The two main characters were likable and passionate for one another. However, as I got toward the end of the book I began to lose interest in the story. Not a bad read my any means, but not one of my favorites from Jude Deveraux.

Love, Love, Love this book!!

I have read this book several times. It is a wonderful storyline and the characters are ones you want to hear more of. Mike, Sam and the entire family really stick with you as a group you would like.

Sweet Indeed!

I first read a preview chapter for Sweet Liar in another one of her books, The Duchess. I immediately went to the library, checked out Sweet Liar and read it in one afternoon. I wanted to make it last days, but it was just too good! Now I am going to buy it so I can read it over and over again. Mike is a great romance figure-smart, funny, tender, thoughtful, caring, and a family man. Sam, once she opens up, is strong, fun, and sexy. These characters have real depth. They get to know each other through experience and fall in love the right way.

This book must be one of the better stories she's ever created. It hits deep and touches a level that most of the others don't. It's a definite Jude Deveraux book to read.

excellent!!

I admit I was a little unsure if I would enjoy this book or not since many of the reviewers are high schoolers, but I found this book extremely good!! The chemistry was some of the best I've read, and I really loved the progression of the love story. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the suspense portion of the story was a little underdeveloped. The danger seems to 'poof' -- disappear all of a sudden with no reasons given. But other than that I thoroughly enjoyed this book!!

A MUST READ

I think this is one of jude's best!!! i did not want the book to end!!! i loved the way the story was plotted.You will fall in love with the characters. I love the way she puts the taggerts family in the story. This book is worth every penny !!!

Captivating Love Story

I really enjoyed this book. I have never read any books by Jude but after reading this one I may buy some other book by her. This book is a great read. I think any one can fall in love with this book.
