    Patterns included

I've been sewing for 30+ years and I read this book and decided that it was something I needed for my libary. The ideas from this book are wonderful. It has ideas that I haven't thought of in years. The directions are easy to follow, this book includeds full size patterns.

Not what I was looking for.

This book seems fine for the novice, but I wanted more of a technique book for creating beautiful underthings. There are no real foundation garmets, and many of the items are made by embelishing ready-made garmets. a couple of cute ideas, but nothing new for an experinced sewer.

Cute ideas, but not what I thought it would be

No bras with wire, the slips are refashions, there's some lace tableclothes in use ... the ideas are adorable, but I thought this was an instruction book on making beautiful handmade lingerie, and that's not what it is. For what it IS, it's well done and nicely illustrated and has the patterns in the back. Best for smallbusted gals and the youngish crowd.
