For five years, Serena James has filled other people's cravings while ignoring her dreams. Running Fantasy Incorporated has been a full time job so she placed her desires on hold and fulfilled her clients' fantasies. ------------

Now she feels it is her turn to get her itch whipped. She knows whom she wants to dominate her, Damon Roche owner of an exclusive BDSM. Damon is euphoric with a chance to dominate Serena. However he also knows his lovely submissive is thinking short term; he plans on long term domination and tender caring of the woman he loves.-----------

The latest "Sweet" BDSM romance (see SWEET SURRENDER) is a superb contemporary starring two fully developed lead characters whose ardent DS relationship ignites the pages. Serena is the more fascinating of the pair; as she has kept her submissive libido in check while running a fantasy business. Damon is typical of the erotic sub-genre as a strong dominant who controls his partner but makes sure she feels secure under his watch. Is it just me but do these dominants behave like some of the modern alpha werewolves who find their lifemates? Readers will relish Maya Banks' exciting erotic romance.-------

I think Maya Banks has an exciting writing style, but she didn't quite grip me with Sweet Persuasion. The erotic elements were all there, and I love a sizzling BDSM romance, but Serena and Damon just didn't click for me. Their romantic encounters just felt a little trite and the overall story not as interesting as some of the author's earlier work.

    Good story

I liked the entire series. I did find that as the series went on the spelling mistakes made it very frustrating to read. I feel that by the 4th book, the proof readers never even looked at the book. The stories were all well written and had a good plot.

    Highly recommend

Maya Banks has done it again with Damon and Serena's story. It was great to continue to live in the world of the Sweet Series gang. Damon and Serena's story is quite different from Faith and Gray's story, but it still is a story about two people who truly love each other.

    Interesting Follow-Up to Sweet Surrender

I was anticipating what would transpire between Damon and Serena while reading Sweet Surrender. This book was more focused on the characters and their motivations than I expected it to be. Damon was an intriguing man with an interesting background, while Serena was captivating and vulnerable. Both main characters must work in order to deal with their own demons from the past and present. The bedroom scenes are not for the prudish. They are definitely out of the main-stream in my opinion. Damon attempts to control Serena, but the ultimate power struggle appears to be about trust. Both must learn to work out of their pre-conceived roles and into a meaningful, lasting relationship.

    Inticing

The characters were easy to like and compare to my own. The plot was interesting and kept me turning the pages.

    ON THE DARK SIDE

This is a very good book -- well written & definitely well researched. NOT for someone easily offended by the darker side of Bondage Domination/Submissive Masochism.

    Great Book

I've yet to read a Maya Banks book that wasn't well written that didn't leave me a little restless. I'd have given her 4 1/2 stars if it would have let me. (I save the 5 stars for JR Ward...sorry Maya, but I'll keep buying. :))

    Steamy

Literally just finished reading it! Starts off great but tended to be a little much better yet freakier that I thought! A little too graphic at times especially if you are new to erotic romance but still a great read. Might have been the whole slave thing and my personal beliefs on pleasing a man! Like I said... it's a steamer!
