This is the second book in the Sweet Home Series. It is Rome's POV of how he and Molly came to be together. I read this book immediately after reading Sweet Home and couldn't put it down. When I read book one I was on the fence of how I felt about Rome. In this one I learned to love him so much more. Being able to understand why he did or said the things he said made the story even richer. It was absolutely wonderful that Tillie Cole actually took the story to twenty years out of when Sweet Home ended. I LOVED it!

"For never was a truer story of love conquering woe than this os Molly Juliet and her Romeo"

Here is my review from Sweet Home:

Molly Shakespeare is a loner. Being the last of her family, surviving tragedy after tragedy in her young life she has become adept at one thing.... hiding behind knowledge. Descartes, Kant, and Shakespeare are her closest confidantes. Leaving England to start school at the University of Alabama as a research assistant is right up her alley allowing her to do what she loves without the complication of letting anyone in.
Alabama is a culture shock for her. Being introduced to campus life and the Bama love of all things football. When she meets Romeo (aka Rome) Prince before her class and then again at a sorority initiation she doesn't know what to think of the handsome quarterback. Although there seems to be a connection between the two of them Rome seems too much of a playboy for her.

Rome Prince likes to have control of everything around him. He has a short temper and figures if girls are going to throw themselves at him than why not take them up on it. From the moment he meets Molly he realizes that there is something about her that calls to him. The darkness that he holds in himself recognizes something in her that makes him want more than just a one night stand.

I had a love hate relationship with Rome in this book from the beginning. He was so domineering and controlling at times that I kept waiting for the moment when he scared Molly away permanently. Because of his past and how he grew up he was so closed off most of the time. It was interesting watching the relationship between him and Molly develop. I really liked how even though he didn't understand what was going on between the two of them he kept coming back for more. And his growth throughout the book was beautiful.

Molly was so shy and innocent from the beginning. Even though she didn't realize it half the time she was so strong for overcoming all the things that happened to her. I liked her little spurts of backbone that showed on and off.

After sweet home I wondered if there was going to be another boo

After sweet home I wondered if there was going to be another book/ series and when I checked there wasn't any.. It was upsetting but I was fine with it, then a few days ago I learned about the series and I was more than ecstatic. Ms. Cole as such a unique way of making her words come to life and it even had me thinking of her book while I wasn't even reading. I was able to have a connection with both Molly and Rome because of this one. I'm not one to usually leave reviews.. But this one was an AMAZING read! If it hadn't been for work or having to go to class I would have finished this book in one sitting, but instead it took me two days. I never wanted to put it down! Reading Romes POV gave a better grasp of what he was feeling. How he felt the weeks molly had left, how he felt after the lost of their angel and everything he went through. I was anxious to learn about what would be coming up after they reconciled.. I wasn't expecting it.. Usually authors give a short preview to what happened and leave it to us guessing that they indeed had the whole happily ever after.. But with this ending it gave you more than enough..it wasn't short and it wasn't long it was simply amazingly perfect !!  There's a spoiler coming up so I suggest stop reading now *SPOILER ALERT* when Ms. Cole had moved to the twenty years later I was a little upset because I wanted to know about the earlier years but once I started reading I was SO grateful Ms. Cole gave the time frame ! I loved the interaction with the children and the fact that the love of Rome and Molly was very much alive ! She showed what happened after the beautiful wedding and after nfl it was great! As well as the bonus chapter ...it was exactly what I wanted and as an amazing author she delivered more than enough ! I could continue to brag and keep writing but Im sure you all get the grasp of how we'll write it was and what an AMAZINGLY GREAT read Sweet Rome was!!!!! It was a beautiful story and it broke my heart to say goodbye to these amazing characters ..I'm looking forward to the rest if the series !!

I really enjoyed this book. It was awesome to read everything that happened in Sweet Home but from Rome’s perspective. Just as in that first book, the characters were excellent and the whole story flowed well. I was immediately drawn into the story and had no problem finishing it in one sitting. I completely engrossed in the world of Rome and Molly.
This was a great opportunity to see everything from not only Rome’s perspective but also little bits from his friends as well. All of the characters were fantastic. They had personality and depth that made them feel like real people. I was easily drawn into their world and found myself empathizing with them throughout the book.
I liked the flashback layout of the book and the extra we get to read beyond where Sweet Home left off. I really can’t wait to read the rest of the books in the series and see this whole gang of great people come together. It was an easy decision to give this one a 5 out of 5 stars!
