So very bad. It could have been a good story without all of the overstated and often repeated angst. At one point I thought I was reading a Diana Palmer story. The plot was believable but the actions of the characters weren't. I got more interested in the story of 2 minor characters that only existed in a few paragraphs(Willie and Tinkling Liz) than I was in the main characters. too much repetition and too little realness of the characters. I mean, I was dumb at 24 but that girl was just plain stupid and I feel that way after reading this book.

I have read several books by author Elizabeth Lowell. I never tire of her great characters and their passion for life. This story however, touch my heart as no other by her has! There is such great conflict that you ache to see the resolution. The passion is perfect and the settings are never too much. It is an awesome love story and worth every minute of the reading.
