Profound, deeply affecting.
This is the author's personal story about moving from a 'traditional' lifestyle to a destiny that he felt he could not ignore, developing a global leadership forum based on a Greater Good vs. the bottom line. Though some segments weren't fully developed (I would have liked to know more)the methodical manner in which he explains what caused him to leave his position as a founding partner in a very successful law firm, descriptions of the events, people, and circumstances made for a compelling and moving read. Though I consider myself to be more aware person who is living my values, and on some level I acknowledge the things the book explains, I hadn't really thought about them in a global, humanitarian level -- at least in this way. Jaworski's personal transformation from the success-driven typical white male to someone who becomes more aware and atuned to the greater powers that shape our lives was interesting enough. Add to that the response of so many people in committing to the vision, and the mere beginning of the transformation it can mean for humankind really struck a chord for me. I think Synchronicity will be one of those books that re-emerges in my thoughts and I ponder over and over again.
