Good stuff

I am happy with this Bible. It has a very nice Table of Contents from which you can go to every chapter in the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments.

    Great on NookColor

This is one of the faster e-book Bibles when it comes to going back and forth between books, chapters, and verses. Works much better on NookColor than on the simple touch.

    Good Traditional Catholic Bible

Some reviewers are disappointed that this does not match their Mass readings. That is because the D-R was replaced by the New American Bible as the official translation way back in the '70s. Douay might still be used in some traditional parishes, as many consider it to be the translation that is most true to the original languages (Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic). But the "official" Church Bible in America is now the NAB, which is owned by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. I personally would like to find a New Jerusalem Bible for Nook, as it is more modern than the Douay and more accurately translated (less Vatican II modernist Protestant) than the NAB.
