Sherlock Holmes has an interesting way with solving mysteries. He has access to volumes of records about all the people in England. I was unlucky enough to get a sequel to the original first book in the (I¿m guessing) series. When the first story is introduced I have to understand that everyone in the world except for a certain villainous main character thinks that Sherlock Holmes is dead for the past 3 years. Into the story I realize that Sherlock Holmes¿s #1 sidekick Watson is actually telling the story. Watson is thoroughly shocked to see Holmes alive, but also very happy. They go on a stakeout to capture the man who killed a minor politician. After the first story Sherlock Holmes goes back to his normal (or abnormal, however you feel is necessary) ways of solving crimes. The author does not really give you clues to the end solution but it¿s all in the fun of discovering who the real crook is. In the end I think this book is good but not great. I'm sure there are other people out there that will like Sherlock Holmes better than me.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
