An unbelievable story line, with under-developed characters, and poor verbiage are only the basic premises of this book. As I read this book, I desperately hoped it would redeem itself, but it did not. The author, a professed scientist, would do well to remain in her current profession and forego writing books. I should contact her publisher, as I am writing a book as well. Since this defective piece of work managed to get published, my book should make it to the best seller list. Unfortunately, I purchased two other books by this author before I read this one. I truly hope they are an improvement over this one. Sorry for this negative review, but it is a shame to waste money on books that had little entertainment value.

    Is Lisa Black A Man-Hater?

Synopsis of this book: Lots of man-bashing and macho girl-talk. It all got very old very quickly. One minute the main female character is talking about how much more tough and stable women are than men, the next minute she is expressing wimpy emotions that lack even an ounce of toughness. This book is a typical exercise of a female author that tries to make tough and invincible female lead characters but wholly misses the mark. Women and men BOTH are tough and can face trials and hardships in very stable ways. So reading a book with a gender specific agenda is very annoying and is a waste of money spent on the book and is a waste of time spent reading it. I do not recommend this book at all to anyone.
