Tales of a Road Dog is the story of Ron Levy's journey through decades of music. I know Ron from the Boston Blues music scene, he's quiet, a bit shy and about the best keys player I've ever had the joy of hearing. His book is like listening to a long conversation of his escapade's. It must have been exciting and a little scary to be a young tall thin nice Jewish man traveling with some of the greatest African American musicians during times when many thought different people should not mix. I got this great book as a Christmas gift and didn't pick it up for three weeks because I knew I would have a hare time putting it down. I was right.

He has played with just about every great American Musician you can think of. I'm going to reread it and have already bought a copy for another who loves the craft. Please get this book, read it and share it. Also If you live in the Boston area go LISTEN to this man. He's a treasure! I've been told that as a New Englander I'm spoiled with the amount of live music in our area. It's true! Go out and support live music and support Ron and his craft. Thank you for sharing and I'll be asking you about those things that you left out in order to protect the "innocent"
