Rosie Miller and Hunter Black are all kinds of awesome when they come together (pun not intended but hey I'll take it.)
These two were an item five years ago and then Hunter walked away. Rosie kind of knew why. She knew she was needy and clingy and not someone the amazing Hunter would want. In fact she wishes that she could meet Hunter all fresh and new today without the baggage of the past. It was all too humiliating and a lost opportunity for Mr. Right at the Wrong time.
Hunter is mouthwatering gorgeous. He's built and he's together and he's everything you could ever want in a man. And the best thing...he likes Rosie just the way she is. If only they could keep their hands off each other.
Rosie has been burnt by loving Hunter once before so she's keeping her heart and just enjoying the smexy. Isn't she? Of course she is. And if that pesky organ causes trouble, she'll do the walking away because she's stronger now and she's responsible for her emotions.
As always Sarah Morgan brings the feels to even this short read. When we get the whole story it's just...you know. And then when he...and they...it's just....*happy sigh*
Crossing the LIne 4 stars
I've been enjoying the Cosmo reads. They are short, sexy and have a happy ending. This was a little out of the ordinary because Caite is the dominant one in the relationship and Jamieson is the one obeying. It's not all leather whips and madam lash however. It's about them meeting a need neither of them had explored before.
The relationship is really rather sweet and when things went wrong I did get quite emotional. Which kind of surprised me because generally this isn't my thing and some of the language was a little more explicit than I liked which had kept me disengaged because I was uncomfortable.
Overall I enjoyed the story but because of those issues I couldn't give it five stars which I normally would for a story that squeezed out a tear or two.
