Meh...More Confusing than Interesting
This is a spin-off from the Sensory Ops books but my peeve here is that this is the first book in this particular series and apparently there's a hot and heavy past for the H/h that took place even before the 2nd Sensory Ops book and is not really explained here. I will admit that I have not read the 2nd Sensory Ops book yet but my opinion is that when it says it's the first in a series then I shouldn't have to guess and infer throughout the entire book about what happened previously. It's also very short and they spend a lot of time building the tension, sexual and otherwise, which finally results in a couple of very abbreviated but sexy love scenes. Add to this that the heroine has yet to reveal her previous real role in the hero's life.
I stand by my original opinion that since this is promoted as a first in the series it should not leave so much unexplained. I'm thinking if this had been about a hundred pages longer I would have been waaaaay more satisfied.

First book in the wedding series, wedding planners combine their talents for the perfect day.
Lori Mullins is just starting up the wedding and design company and she goes to Trevor for a loan. She's tried many other banks and has gotten turned down. Her friend Misty knows she can get the loan.
Problem is Trevor Masters turns her down but gives her an alternative suggestion: he gets a portion of the company, takes an interest in the companies that get hired and after she agrees, his wedding is the first one to be planned.
Erotic hot sex scenes and while away from the building they learn a lot more about each others past. They do have a past together, one that she left him in a coma.
He didn't see it as such. She misunderstands and thinks she's planning Randy, the maintenance woman in charge of renovations, her wedding to Trevor.
He tries to help her get over her past and pain as she lets him in on the secrets.
I received this from the author and will post my honest reviews.
