The story starts with a young, eager, and determined Yorkshire Terrier who is adopted and given the name Tango. But just as he's getting used to such a name and his new owners, he finds himself stranded on the island in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. All he wants is to go back to his owners. To get away from the troublesome cats. To retrieve his name and breathe honor into it and to be remembered by it. But no human knew of it...not without his name tag.....
Miss Augusta Smith, never had a child, but dearly wanted one. When a little dog washed up along the shores of Victoria, could her wish come true? Could this little dog, so close to death, become hers to take care of. But there were so many questions. How did he survive? Who did he belong to? Would he even live? And soon, despite herself, she finds herself attached to the little dog....
McKenna Skye started with a fox. A fox that saved her. A fox that followed her. Even to the new town Victoria. There she hoped to start over...again. She was determined to start a life without the help of others that claimed to be her family.
Beau the fox watched the little girl everyday. It was his duty. He didn't know why. But he did, where ever she went. And soon on the new island he finds another to watch and guide...
And lastly, a cat. A cat who desperately wanted to fit in, to belong. But he finds that maybe that isn't really what he wants...
This story is heart-warming and adventurous. I fell in love with little Tango and I reccomend it.
