The Tao of Thomas
The Tao of Thomas is written in two parts. It is a new translation of the Gospel of Thomas and, more excitingly for me, a new translation of the Tao Te Ching. Both are done from a fresh point of view. Placing these two works in the same volume leads to a journey that is rich and insightful. From Jesus' comment, 'Become passers by.' to Lao Tsu's comment, ' The master remains detached.' I saw and felt the sameness of the words. I was happy to have been one of the first to receive the book.
