Love it love it love it
I've tried 3 different covers (Sullivan Easel, Industrial) and this by far is the best one. I was pleasantly surprised at how light and minimalist it is, which is exactly what I was looking for. The material itself is of good quality with a nice smooth finish to it. The cool factor is off the roof with its "origami" functionality. It really is novel how it folds to be in either vertical or horizontal easel mode (I think this is the only available NC cover that has this capability). 2 very minor criticisms: when the cover folds back to reading mode, the top flap kind of flops around a little bit (as another reviewer pointed out) and the corner edges are a bit rough and sharp (which can be considered a plus for ruggedness). But I really do think it's the best NC cover out there when considering the cool factor, versatility, and minimalist nature.

ABSOLUTE MARVELOUS IDEA!!
I've had a case for my Nook for a long while, and it's starting to become worn out. When I tested this case out, and thought about the different ways I can use it, I knew it was 99.9 percent for me! The other .1 percent is because there's no magnet clip or anything to keep it closed.

love it
this case is everything promised. since, it's plastic it good out in the rain; when it folds into the stand it can sit in my lap. it's thinner than any of my old cases so it takes less room. it's sturdy; when folded it stays folded. the only problem I have is you have to fold it a certain way other wise it will not stay folded.

Disappointing Beyond Measure
I order the Tasume in Carbon for my Nook color. The idea of the case seemed well thought out and it looked like it would be a nifty case. What I liked most was that the Nook slipped into the case and does not clip in. (I have had issues in the past with the three clip design.) With the cover being $50 I would have thought that it would be a great case. Oh how wrong I was!! The case felt cheap when I held it in my hands. I did not care for the material, it felt like a cheap plastic and could rip with the slightest tension. The slip in idea is fantastic. The nook is definitely secure within the case, there is no problem there. The issue is that when trying to slip it in, the nook was too snug, with it barely fitting, and putting great strain on the "cheapish" material. I felt like that it would tare after a couple of weeks. The origami folding is cool. I always like different methods of propping up the Nook. The design definitely worked, but the flaps were flappy. The magnets worked, for the most part, but there were parts of the tri-fold that flapped around. Very disappointing. Overall, I strongly disliked this item. It had great potential, but it just felt cheap and weak. For $50, the item should have been better made. Trust me, save your hard earned money.

WORTH IT!
Got this cover in the first part of December when I got my new Nook Tablet. It was a snug fit getting it into the cover. I liked this because I was not afraid that it would fall out. As a stand, it works superbly. My only complaint is the little triangles on the top and bottom do not actually secure to anything when the cover is closed. They are a bit floppy. I am hard on gear. Having had the cover for over six weeks now, I can say that it shows no wear. This is a pleasant surprise. Overall, I can definitely recommend this cover. If I had to do it all over again I would buy this one!

Worth the Cost
This was my first case for my new nook and I couldn't be happier. The other reviews point out that it's a little "flappy" in certain positions. This is true. However, the concept of the design meets my intent and purposes so I give it 5 stars for quality, durability, and functionality.

Very good, not quite perfect...
The case certainly does as advertised; with a quick flip the magnetic panels fold together, and you can easily view it in vertical or horizontal position. It's a little wobbly in the vertical mode, but that's easy to work around. My only complaints are pretty minor, but maybe they could be improved on in a future version. --The magnets work OK; I find it a little odd that when it's closed up, the outer edges (the smaller triangles) sort of flop freely. It would be nice if they locked in place a bit more. --I really wish they had put a hole in the case for the volume rocker, like they did for ON button and headphone jack. As it is you press through the case edge (which is marked), but it doesn't have a great feel. --All around, for something that's fairly pricey, it doesn't have a "rich" feel to it. Totally subjective, I know; I guess I expected to be blown away and kinda wasn't.

Absolutely Great
I love that this cover is not bulky like most other covers and yet still makes me feel that my Nook tablet is well protected especially since both sides are covered when closed. Definitely NOT cheap plastic. I also love the folding stand feature, always there and ready when I need it. With both covers folded back, the whole thing is very comfortable to hold in my hands. I do agree that the corners can be a bit "flappy" but not so much as to be disconcerting. One of the best and most versatile covers I have seen.

Six stars for Tasume cover!
I bought this cover for my Nook Tablet and it is fabulous! I loved it so much, that I convinced my husband to buy it for his Nook Color and he now loves it as much as I do. The material is extremely durable - not cheap plastic. And being able to prop up the Nook in various situations is wonderful. We both love this cover and highly recommend it.

Exactly what I was looking for!
Was fortunate in getting it in a lovely red which seems to be a bonus as I don't see that available on line anymore. Love the light weight, love the way the magnets hold it closed as it shuffles around in my bag. The "oragami style" is genious and exactly what I was looking for. I also love the material it's constructed from. Makes it, easy to grip with no slip, one handed. Two words, LOVE IT!
