This is exactly what my wife and I needed. It has helped us in reeducating ourselves. Gods peace to all.

    Totally Cool

Awesome. This is literally the coolest Bible that I have ever seen. Originally, I had an older version of this when I was in middle school (1997) and I really liked it then, but this new revised edition (2008) is the coolest one I have seen yet. I just love it! There are all sorts of new features that make this Bible so user friendly. Examples of the new things are a Panorama that keeps the Bible book in view of the big picture. There are key indexes that pull things in for deep Bible studies, To the Point makes the subject matter at hand easy to understand in broken down term, Instant Access is like a letter from God directly to the reader. Dear Jordan is completely neat, It's in a Dear Nancy type scenario that offers great advice to teens. Q&A tests knowledge of neat trivia, Bible promises is one of my favorites that highlights Bible verses worth remembering, and Book Introductions provide a plain spoken overview for each book of the Bible. The most awesome parts are the 20 full-color pages that 'explore ancient ruins, enetworking, music and more'. But above everything else, the absolute most amazing thing of all that is new to this edition is the We Believe. It breaks down the Apostles' Creed to reveal the biblical foundation of faith. In bits and pieces the Apostles' Creed is explained in an amazing manor. This Bible is fantastic and I am so excited to be able to have it and share it with the youth in my life. I strongly suggest it for every teen and preteen everywhere. The scripture is the same NIV text that we all know and love and trust. But the additions and inserts are all in common language that teens and tweens today can appreciate. Real things are discussed that kids might not bring up to others, and it is all there right for you. It's a manual and it's user friendly, and that's what is important.

Great for the Teen Who has Questions

I purchased two of these Bibles. One for my 16yr old and the other for my 13 yr old. I am Catholic but I wanted my children to make their own decision about religion and what they believed. They both started going to a non-denominational church and had questions that I could only answer from a Catholic stand point. These Bibles helped with those questions in easy to read dialog that my teens could understand.

    Teen Bible Study

Grandaughter enjoys it and the pastor has been very supportive in her use of this book. I recommend it for all teens who are in a church with a youth group and bibl study group!

An excellent choice for your teen

This is an easy read for your teen. It also contains some real world scenarios and questions that can be applied based upon the text. I would not hesitate to choose this again. My wife and I purchased one for our son and one for our daughter. The only differnce is the choice of covers boy v/s girl. You would not regret this as a purchase.

    Nice bible for a teen

I gave this bible to my son to use during confirmation. He's found it easy to use and with the tabs we added, easy to navigate. It's a good bible for a teen learning about God's word.

    great study Bible

Excellent for both the first time reader and the more experienced. Asks some challenging questions that prompt an answer, and the desire to search for the answer. I'm having difficulty obtaining various cover styles through B & N. Seems as though the local store software or the personnel are unable to identify different styles. I had to go to the publisher to identify the various products and then give that information to the B & N personnel so they could order the Bible that I wanted to obtain.
