If you were dying would you write a letter to your sons to tell

If you were dying would you write a letter to your sons to tell them all the things you would have if you were there for them growing up. That is exactly what Mark Weber has done - his letter is the book Tell My Sons, and it is a page turner. I couldn't put this one down and was very moved.

    Authentic

Whether you know Mark Weber personally or not, the lessons and values contained within the pages of his book are clearly meant for any reader. As an 18-year-old female college student, I felt like he was speaking to me. His experiences and insights inspire me to be the best person that I can be. He's helped me examine my own life - what I have and what I don't - and to focus on what I can do with it all.

I love reading books that make me cry and laugh, and boy, did I cry both tears of sadness and tears of laughter. It's the best book I have ever read. Mark really knows how to speak to people and awaken the vigor and spirit of the soul with his words.

I know I will continue to re-read this book for the insightful lessons it provides for leading a life of character and strength in the face of adversity.

This is one of a very few "life altering" reads I have

This is one of a very few "life altering" reads I have come across in my lifetime. A surprisingly honest yet humorous take on mortality, the book is more of a love letter from a husband, father, soldier and humanitarian to the wife and young boys facing an uncertain future without him. With colorful reflections on past adventures and heartbreaking discussions of present challenges, Weber invokes heartfelt emotion as he reinvents the idea of living life to its fullest. Never failing to learn a valuable lesson from nearly every obstacle (big or small) he's encountered along his journey, the author sums up the most powerful of these lessons in each of this book's eight chapters - in hopes that his sons (and perhaps all readers) can gain perspective, build character, and reach within themselves to leave a positive mark on a world that doesn't often play fair. A must-read book for all ages.

A great demonstration of strength and character in the face of human struggle. A mix of humor and sadness bring you close to Mark's life.

Buy This Book: An Unbelievable Story of a True Hero!

I've had the fortunate opportunity of hearing Mr. Weber speak at our church and had to buy to book to hear more about his story. I can only wish that I could be so brave staring death in the face as Mr. Weber is doing. I highly recommend this book!
