I really enjoy this writer's work and this book is no exception
I've been reading this author's work since her first book, Affair of the Heart. She's consistent. I know that whenever I pick up a Janice Sims book I'm going to be entertained and enlightened. She doesn't talk down to me as a reader. And her characters are always believable. I don't care for over the top drama just for the sake of drama. I want my characters to behave like adults not children. She writes intelligent, passionate stories that always touch my heart. Patrice was an actress yes, but she had her head on straight. T.K. had been an actor so long, and a successful one, that he kind of had a big head. But Patrice obviously saw something good in him to fall in love with him. In the end he learned what it meant to be a man, a real man, for his woman and as the head of his family. He had lessons to learn that I wish more men would learn.

Temptation's Kiss
I gave this story a 3 1/2 stars. This continues the second story in the Temptation Series and I did appreciate the first book in the series even though it move very quickly. The main characters T.K. and Patrice were an interesting couple. I found Patrice to be a strong character who knows what she wants. She was determined to get T.K. in a corner where he cannot get out of it. T.K. did not impress me in any shape or form. I tried to like him and found I just could not. He has his moments where he was attractive and pleasant, but his "know it all" mentality left a bad taste in my mouth. Honestly, I do not believe Patrice and T.K. marriage will work. They are not true soul mates. I did not get enough story for me to say a marriage will work. The plot was not the best and the climax was really dim. T.K. got money, so what? He can do what he wants and have people at his bank and call, not attractive to me. What happen to their movie? I hope Janice Sims sum everything up in the last book because Elle and Belana supposed to be best friends, however they barely talked to one another. I always try to finish what I started so, I am looking forward to the last book.
