    Great Read!

Intense story! many questions answered,I finished it in 2 days.
I could not put this book down!
Greg Cox does a great job of setting this world up for you.
also along with Timothy Zahns's "from the ashes" is a great prequel to the movie.

    I Also Recommend:

    The Terminators are coming!

Greg Cox did not pull any punches with this story. There are many deaths, self-sacrifices, moments of sadness and grief, and a villain to hate: Skynet. Luckily the story does not focus on John Connor since he has enough pages to chew on in the other book, "From the Ashes" by Timothy Zahn. Most of the characters in the story are sympathetic but a few are just there to die off to show how despicable Skynet can be.

The events of this story dove-tail nicely into the movie "Terminator Salvation." The background on General Ashdown (Michael Ironsides) shows how much he wants to make up for his support of the Skynet Project that preceded, and caused, Judgement Day. The new characters are engaging and worthy of follow-up (Molly Kookesh and Dmirti Losenko) if they survived the events of "Terminator Salvation."

I liked this story. Surprisingly, i thought the book's focus on Losenko and Russians was more entertaining than the 2018 Alaskan resistance focus. It brought an extra layer of depth/complication to the terminator franchise. It was my first terminator book so i don't have book perspective but im a loyal fan and have seen the movies and the entire run of The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Overall, this was a very strong story and i am eager to start reading T.Zahn take on the terminator world.
