    I like this book

Its a nice small size take along book. I made my first pair of socks from this book, and I have alot of sock books. The first pattern called the boyfriend book is an easy style to learn with. I would recommend this book for a beginner, and also those more experienced.

You CAN knit socks - with this book...

Martingale & Company always does a stunning job on their books.
    And this is no exception.
I knit, but not socks, and not on size 2 dpn's.
But I tried this book, and I'm hooked. I WILL knit socks from now on.
The illustrations are really easy to follow. There are plenty of sock patterns to keep you busy, and they all refer back to great basic instructions.
This is a 'personal library' type of book. You won't be disappointed.
And you WILL be encouraged enough to start knitting socks if you don't already.

    Great Addition to "Sock" Library

This is definitely a must have book for sock knitters! The illusrations are extremely well done and make the techniques very easy to understand. After knitting my first pair of toe-up socks I found myself wondering if there were a way to do the "traditional" heel flap as I do on my cuff down socks. No need to wonder anymore or figure it out for myself---it's all contained in this nice little compact book. Patterns of different ability levels mean there is something for everyone. Great find!
