    A good story.

Really enjoyed reading this continued story. Although this is about m/m relationships it is also a story of living as you are in a society that is prejudiced and short minded. I personally will continue reading the entire series without regret.

I really do like this series but I feel compelled to point out just two things about them that I personally find a little off setting. The first is every single coupling Ms. York put together find themselves pulled toward one another in an instantanious attraction for one another. There's no shamless flirting over days or weeks. There's no "wooing" of one another. There's no akward moments of first attactions. There are no first dates that didn't precede a sexual encounter. You know all the things that make for a romantic and lasting relationship. I find it almost an insult as a gay man that just about every single relationship in this series starts first with sex as the sole form of attraction and the basis for all the relationships. But once again I must say I did like this series and Ms. York did a good job of describing the intimate moments between all her characters. The second point that I had the hardest time with was her, dare I say, overuse of the jealousy theme. Every single couple had issues with thinking someone was going to steal away their boyfriend. It got tiring reading the same trivial jealous rant because someone gave someone else a second look. I just wish there was one, just one, couple in this series that was secure enough in their relationship that they did not have to be overly cautious that their significant other is going to cheat on them. And by the way is there something in the well water that turns everyone who works at the ranch gay? I'm kind of waiting for Cookie to come out of the closet. With all that said I just want to say one last time I did like this series. I hope you will too and you give your two cent review.

This is a great series. I loved this book. We find out what happens to everyone from the previous books. The ending was a surprise, one I didn't see coming, but don't want to spoil it for anyone.
I highly recommend this whole series!

I absolutely love this series. These last 2 books were a lot longer than the first 3, but that makes total sense since there was so much more going on for everyone. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars was the change in Riley. He was such an integral part of the first books, but it seemed like his feelings and personality did a complete reversal in this book. I know that people don't always stay in relationships forever, but when I read a romance/erotic novel, I'm really looking for a HEA in the end. But that isn't going to stop me from getting the next book as soon as it comes out. Too much was left open at the end of this one that I absolutely have to have more.

Gresh is on his deathbed. Lane’s world has crashed down around him and he has to make decisions. Jump is trying to take care of arrangements and Hamilton’s business. Jamie has stepped in and is trying to run the ranch very shorthanded without, Lane, Gresh, or Jump to help. Kip is a new man that shows up an old friend of Gresh’s to help and with secrets of his own.
This is the fifth book of the series and each just gets better and better. This one has so much going on but it isn’t overwhelming.  Not only  is all the above going on but we also have Riley still very much in love with Lane and also thinking now he may have a chance, then Connor dealing with his insecurities knowing he may lose  Connor and dealing with his loss with Gresh as well. Plus his coworker is really putting the make on him If all this isn’t enough we have the mystery that Kip brings plus another tragedy at the ranch. Oh yeah lots of excitement and still plenty of hot mansex.  It is pretty sad with the tragedies going on but the new love interests and Lane’s never dying love and dilemma of his feelings of Riley pick it up  with the  sigh-worthiness of it all. I am anxiously counting the days till may and the next one!!
Recommendations: If you love modern day westerns, Hot  ranch hands, suspense, and super -hot mansex you will love this one.
