    Highly recommended

Recommended as a highly amusing, albeit over the top, account of how a 100-year-old vodka addicted Swede changes world history, aided by an unwitting gallery of presidents, dictators and diplomats, as well as by remarkable friends and unusual characters he meets as he travels around the globe. His background as a trained expert in explosives
is a helpful thread throughout the narrative.

The actual world history is accurate; his role Forrest Gump-like, is of course fictional.

I've been told all my life that if you get to page 50 and the book is a drag to put it down and pick up another. My mother has said this...Oprah has said this! I am on page 74 and I am STILL trying to work with this book. It's not good, it's not funny. I think I may have to leave Allan sitting in Chapter 7 blowing things up. This book sucks. You want to read a few good books...see what I have listed!
