    Fabulous! It's so nice to have what was previously an e-book in a print version. This book will be out at the end of this month (October 2013). I have a pre-release copy because I've helped the author out on her Facebook page and now on the Balanced Bites forums. I recommend the 21-Day Sugar Detox to anyone who wants to "just step away from the sugar." This is no gimmicky pre-packaged food or shake program. This is a whole foods based way of eating that retrains your taste buds and stabilizes your blood sugar. My favorite thing about it is the increased energy and lack of "hangry" (hungry ---> angry) craziness. As wonderful as the detox is, it does take planning. That's where this book becomes very helpful. There's information on how to prepare to set yourself up for success.

    What does this book include? 
    *lists of yes, no, and limit foods for all three levels plus modifications for athletes, pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as people with autoimmune diseases or those who don't eat red meat or poultry (but do consume seafood)
    *a little quiz to figure out which level is right for you
    *a lot of information on how sugar works in the body and why certain foods are on or off plan
    *recipes (over 90)
    *meal plans for each level
    *a guide to dining out
    *a guide to fats and oils
    *list of sweeteners to be avoided
    *advice on what to eat instead of some common foods you may be eating now
    *a success log
    *a bunch of frequently asked questions and answers
    *resources such as online forums, group support, blogs, and books
