Relative of one of the original officers questions this book
The book was very informative and had great pictures from the battalion, but it left out some important people. Leonard Taylor was one of only five original officers in charge when the battalion started out and he wasn't even included in this book. Leonard Taylor made newspapers all over the country, but somehow was left out. The book covered a great deal of field promoted officers(including the author's father) but needed to spend more time on the original officers that were put in charge of starting the battalion. A very good book otherwise! It would be nice if the author had left his email for reviews and questions. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
