Unique, and worth adding to your Cookbook Library
Suzanne Goin, and her fresh ingredient/depth-of-flavor approach, has long been a favorite of mine. As my friends and the spattered pages of my copy of "Sunday Suppers at Lucques" can attest. Holding and reading the hard copy edition of A.O.C. is a joy. The photos and Suzanne's introductory notes add great pleasure to imagining how her A.O.C. take on combining ingredients will taste. The wine notes from Goin’s business partner Caroline Styne are intriguing and perceptive and a terrific addition to the format of Goin's first cookbook. And they prompt new, fruitful discussions w/my local wine merchant. So I also have the digital edition for my NookHD+, ready to pull up in my travels to make the best of what might be local and to amaze friends as recompense for their hospitality.
