This is the sequel to Bringing Her Wolf where Chloe Weiss was turned from a null to a full wolf by her mate Jackson Swift.

Chloe feels like her dreams have come true. Her Wolf has finally made an appearance and she found her mate, her love Jackson. Now if she can only get the rest of her pack to accept her everything would be perfect. Right? Wrong! The woman in her pack resent her for snapping up Jackson, the handsome alpha to be. And they consider her to be too weak to be an Allah's mate.
If this isn't bad enough, Jackson's childhood friend is determined to break them apart and take him for herself. Chloe has to learn how to fight for what she wants and to trust that her she-wolf is strong enough to take whatever gets thrown her way.
While I liked the plot and the intrigue Michelle Fox threw in I found myself having a hard time connecting with Chloe. I wanted that strong, kick ass attitude all the time.

I was lucky enough to receive a copy of Fated Mates: Alpha Shift

I was lucky enough to receive a copy of Fated Mates: Alpha Shifter Boxed Set as an ARC for an honest review. Out of the 12 stores in this set, there were less than half that held my interest. Michelle Fox's The Alpha's Mate was one of the ones I loved! I have read several of Michelle Fox's books and I must say, she is an awesome author.

    Just so

Two stars because the Huntsville pack is a pack of petty humans. Yeah yeah, they're wolves too, but the pettiness of being a human overshadows the real wolfy wolf. They're catty, they can't accept they're puny. I want to have an understanding pack when indulging my escapism, so,no. This catty petty puny pack is in the drains for me. Rrrrrrr.

What I love about this story:
-lots of cool werewolf stuff, how they live, how they behave, what it's like to be a wolf. The author put a lot of detail into this.
-steamy love scenes with the hero
-BUT the hero doesn't save the day, the heroine saves herself.

This is a story about growing into yourself and finding out who you are so you can be in a relationship.

Chloe has gone from zero to alpha's mate in the span of a few weeks.
She's never been a wolf before let alone anyone with power in her pack. Now she's the big cheese and not everyone's a fan.
She has to learn how to own her wolf, to stand on her own two (or four) feet  or it won't matter that she's mated to the pack's alpha.
The story moves fast and reads a lot like Urban Fantasy to me. If you like werewolves, this book will make you howl.
