Great Book

This book was very fun to read I like the art and the story. I certainly liked the characters, they reminded meof characters in the book Marked by P.C. Cast.

I bought this book for my little sister's 11th birthday and after seeing the one or two of the minor scary/disturbing pictures (the elf prince and the car crash) I was a tiny bit worried it'd might be bloody or way to dark for a 11 year old. The book was a little dark but not bad and the blood is at minimum. The author obviously is trying to keep the book kid friendly which is good. The storyline is overall pretty good and the art work is great. It is a very original book and has good characters and I look forward to the next one and think my sister will enjoy book two.

Great Story for Kids and Adults

The art and story are able to keep children interested and engaged, but it also is fun for the adults sharing it with the kids.

    I Also Recommend:

A great follow-up and series builder

Book one ended with me licking my chops for more, and Kazu has not let me down.

I got started on his stuff through the Flight Comics AnthologiesFlight, Volume One and then with Daisy KutterDaisy Kutter: The Last Train

Book one lays the ground work for a great world of fantasy and SciFi, with a dash of steam-punkery.

Here in book two he takes the story and really starts to flesh out the characters and the world they are in.

I enjoyed it quite a bit, and it was safe enough to read to my 4-year-old.

The only complaint that I have is that it seems that parts of the book got more time and attention than others, but over all I loved the artwork.

I look forward to the next book.
