This book is a must-read for anyone working with any males who show aggression. Every single parole officer, police officer, mental health professional, even parents, scout leaders, and teachers should read it. And the people who should read it -- and take notes on it -- are defense attorneys! I think Raine's work, and of course, this book, and what he both researched for over 35 years and what he is finally allowed to be saying to the public and to the non-academic reader is going to eventually change our entire criminal defense and the way we treat -- and the way we look at -- men who are aggressive and cannot control that aggression. I have recommended this book to so many people and found it one of the most fascinating, thought-provoking, and scholarly treatments of the subject I have ever read.

WOW, I am flabbergasted at all these studies done in the past-and how their are manny things that contribute to crime. I was watching this clip on the internet about psychopaths, and the author-Adrain Raine came on-I was amazed at what he had to say and I had to contact him; I messaged him and told him a little about myself and how I am majoring in Forensic Psych, he suggested this book, and I read it. Very good detailed book, its a step up for any Criminology major. I recommend this book, and Im not one to just recommend any book, this is a jaw dropper-though it is very difficult to get through. :p
