Great Book! After devouring the first novella in The Billionair

    Great Book!

After devouring the first novella in The Billionaire’s Club series, I waited patiently for the second book to be released, The Billion Dollar Bad Boy. I found the second book to be even better than the first. I am a huge fan of Ms. Ashenden, and I look forward to reading everything she authors. This is a hot and engaging read that should not be missed.

Billionaire public relations guru and playboy, Donovan Morrow, has worked very hard to shed his clandestine past and prove to the world that he is not just a pretty face. Now that his father is gone, he has the chance to remove the mask and put his business acumen to work. His older brother Jax is a chip off the old block to a degree, so Donovan must convince him as well that he is capable of making the right decisions for their company.

Victoria De Winter is adopted and when her mother passed away, her father was less than thrilled to take over the reigns of child-rearing. Because she is not a blood relative, he has always treated her differently both personally and professionally. She has always had to work harder to prove her worth and has done so with her head held high. She is a top-notch business executive and known to her colleagues as the ice princess. She has gone so far as to get engaged to a man she does not love, because it makes good business sense and it will please her father.

Donovan and Victoria are two lonely people searching for acceptance and love. Due to a possible business deal, they spend some time together and the heat between them very quickly ignites. They slowly break down each others barriers and let their true-selves shine through. The author creates some wonderful sex scenes that go beyond scorching.

The Billion Dollar Bad Boy is a steamy, fast-paced novella. The characters are well-defined, likeable and exciting. I am truly looking forward to the final book in the series that is due out next month. This novella can be read as a stand alone.

I received this book via NetGalley.
