I couldn't even finish this book. By chapter five I had enough, and
forced myself to get through three more chapters before calling it
quits. The characters and story aren't very interesting, especially the
main character who is a bratty and whiny teenager from NYC who pretty
much just cares about buying things until she meets Maurice, an otter
she named. Her sudden obsession with helping Maurice seems a little fake
to me...And also, of course she falls in love with the hot older brother
of the girl she switches families with. This book is really long and
feels like a waste of time to me..

this book is not AT ALL what i thought it was going to be. i thought hey cool a book about a tv show y not read it? but then when i was in the middle of it i realized y did i spend my mpney on a book like this even if i got it at a clearence book store for only 2 bucks it still was NOT worth it. It was actually pretty good in the beginning but the way the characters talked its just they did not have any emotion that absolutely no reader could connect with. Then when it got to the part when she liked Mitch its like why didnt thet just makeout already it was just soooo slooww moooving and really quite boring. y did the author have to write about seals too? its like its a book about a tv show you could write about anything! but seals?! how much more boring can you get??? it was also very unrealistic i still have not finished it even tho i got it a couple months ago cuz it was boring. then wen i got bac to iit i just skipped to the end. it was so horrible id rather read the newspaper IT WAS THAT HORRIBLE and BORRRRRRRRRRR-INNNNNNNNG!!!!
